Working together was really easy going and Julie is very supportive. And I felt that every idea I had was taken in and we could talk about it and kind of see where it could go. And yeah.

In Germany was that it was really not trying to build a portfolio. It was more about developing drawing skills. So I never really experienced the whole creative process.

I think the main thing I learned was that I finally got an idea for how the creative process really goes about and how to develop beyond just having an idea and jotting it down. So that was very helpful for me.

I got offers for architecture school from the University of Manchester and from University College London’s Bartlett School of Architecture UCL.

And I firm the offer from Bartlett School of Architecture UCL and I’m super excited to be starting in September, hopefully. Well, I’m basically just very satisfied with the outcome and the offers I got. But also comparing to when I applied last year and I didn’t have the support, I was definitely more successful and I ended up getting into the school I really wanted. So that’s basically the dream outcome.

I would definitely recommend working with Portfolio Oomph because I felt a lot more secure in the whole process of applying to art schools and developing my design portfolio. And it definitely took a big chunk of anxiety from me. So it was very helpful for the process.

M.J. studied for success on my PLAN CREATE SUCCEED portfolio preparation course.

I think the main thing that has changed is that I definitely do apply the things I’ve learned about the creative process and sketchbooks when I’m working now so that my ideas are more refined and more developed. And I would also say that I’ve gotten more experimental with my drawings and art style and I’m less confined to the ideas that I had of art and design before.

CLARITY, in particular around the creative process, sketchbooks, and what the Colleges actually want to see are the founding principles.
