I was doing a one-year college course after high school which did not involve any work on portfolios. I was all at sea and not sure whether Portfolio Oomph would meet my needs.
I went along to a taster meeting with Julie and my mum. I was nervous at first but I relaxed very quickly because it was clear that Julie knew what she was doing – the way she was talking about what was needed for each university and how to fit my work into that.
It felt great to be getting the portfolios looking good and I had real confidence in Julie’s insight. I really felt as if I was getting somewhere and I could see how it all made sense. Julie was down-to-earth and cheerful and always had time for me.

Julie helped me to feel that creating a great portfolio was achievable when before it had felt almost impossible.
I’m very grateful for all the help Julie’s given me. I was delighted to receive unconditional offers from my top two university choices and I don’t think I could have done it without her help.
Elspeth studied for success on my Mentoring Programme.

My passion and mission is your art portfolio, to help to get you that place at college or university.
CLARITY, in particular around the creative process, sketchbooks, and what the Colleges actually want to see are the founding principles.
